Fleetside to Stepside swap

I have a 1980 Scottsdale fleetside but want to swap to a stepside. I found one off a 85 Silverado. Will it bolt right up? Are the bodylines the same? I eventually want to two tone with hugger orange and white. Thanks for the info!

Re: Fleetside to Stepside swap

I did it the opposite way.... took off the step side and put a fleet side on.
No issues bolt holes all lined up no problem.

Re: Fleetside to Stepside swap

Great, thanks everyone! I plan to shave the gas doors anyhow so that shouldn't matter

Re: Fleetside to Stepside swap

Everything is plug and play pretty much. I swapped a stepper out for a fleetside in about an hour or so.
