1963 Short/Fleet/BBW Project in Cal.PICS
I will try and make this as short and sweet as possible. I bought this truck for my ex as she wanted a 60-66 style C10. I have only really had 69-72 style C10's so I did not have much experience with these. Anyway, I just want to get this truck out of my life and move onto something different. preferably a 69-72 Cheyenne, long bed, 4x4. Shipping will be hard as there are tons of new parts for it and I don't know how they would be secured if shipped. It is located in Southern California. I know I could make more if I were to part it out but, I work in Afghanistan and do not have the time for that. Will only be home for a few weeks and would like it gone then. So what is it worth? Here's the breakdown on the truck
1963 GMC/Chevy hybrid Its got all the exterior metal of a Chevrolet but, the cab and chassis vin is GMC and it has the leaf spring style rear GMC suspension with 12 bolt rear -The Cab has zero rust and zero bondo with fuel tank removed and cap hole welded up -Big Back window and correctly converted it to double hump chevy dash which I prefer as it reminds me of the corvettes -Has a 350/350 combo -Blower style pullies -New holley carb -Aluminum intake -HEI -Chevy Style Front clip has new fenders/grille surround and is all bolted together ready to go -Installed custom trim on the cab -Correct 63 chevy grille included -Doors have been patched in the bottom with metal but, are gutted and need finish work -The bed needs wood and has evidence of filler in it -Has disc brakes in the front but, needs new rotors and pads -Has 5x4.75 lug pattern all around -I have all glass and two front windshields -Has nice Chevy gauge cluster -All heater assembly has been rebuilt and media blasted/painted/new heater core all still wrapped up and ready to be installed -All new side custom trim in the box/holes need to be drilled in the body for this -New bumpers and brackets still in the box for front/rear -All new lenses in the box -All new weather stripping in the box -New arm rest/sun visors and sill plates in the box -New sound deadener -CPP aluminum fuel cell installed in rear frame -CPP C Notch kit not installed -New body bushings installed -1 original style bench seat and 1 60/40 early 90's chevy truck seat included -Many other new small misc. parts emblems etc. -Steering column and pedals have been removed but, are included -no master cylinder, I was going to order the plate from captain fab for a booster. I realize it is a big project and will be hard to transport but, it has some nice things done already and everything is here to put it together. I personally know the truck was running/driving and the previous owner told me he just rebuilt the trans and put a shift kit in. The truck currently sits how it looks in the garage picture. I can mount the front clip for transport. It is located in Southern California. Don't worry you won't hurt my feelings with what you think its worth. I know I'm going to take a bath on it but, I just want it gone. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

To the top. Anyone? Would $3000 be about right or am I dreaming?

it's a starting point but like you said parting it would be the best but time is not your friend
