Steering linkage color

Anyone have an ideal what the correct colors should be for the steering linkage. I was thinking they were supposed to be raw cast, is that the same for the the drag link, idler and pitman arm.

Not sure but I believe it's black every one I have seen has been in less someone has painted it there body color but lots of people paint all there suspension Brite silver like aluminum
