15x10 wheel and tire question
I have a set of 15x10 ralley wheels for the rear of my truck. I need to know if these will fit in the wheel wells and what tire size will help make that happen. I would hate to go out and spend the money for tires and then have them too wide for the wheel wells. I guess I could take the wells out for now but I would rather keep them in for the rest of this year.

Re: 15x10 wheel and tire question
295R50x15 I had to trim the inside of the wheel well about a 1/4 inch to get them to fit without rubbing. I don't remember the backspace of my ralleys, not any room left to spare. My truck has a four inch drop in the back, trimming wouldn't be needed at the stock height.

Re: 15x10 wheel and tire question
Just so you know. the 295/50R15 tire is a fairly short tire.....small diameter. That won't help your rpm's any.

True. I hope the info you gave will pan out. I only work 3 days a week so I have plenty of time to change out the rear end..

Re: 15x10 wheel and tire question
A little bit of advice on changing the rear end. Unless the nuts have been off of the U-bolts recently, it is much easier to just cut the U-bolts off and install new ones. They really aren't that expensive, and well worth the cost versus the aggrevation of trying to save the old ones.
