So I'm about to order all my drop springs and spindles and what I would like to run is 4 1/2 in the front and 5 in the rear, I just don't want to c-notch it of I don't have too. Thanks anyone with this lift please send pics if you can..

Generally not necessary with 5" coils, but you'll be close with a load. You will have a lot of rake with that drop combination, though...

I am going with the McGaughys 2 1/2 drop spindles with 2" drop coils on the front and I want the back end to be pretty much level or about an inch higher. What should I do

You might want to be at 6" or 7" rear for even stance. That will require a notch.

Where can I find coils that size? I have a Brothers catalog and a LMC and they only go to 5"

Early classic enterprises has 6" coils.
I had a 72 with 3.5 in the front and 5 in the rear and it had around a inch rake.

I also had a shorter front tire. I don't think you can go wrong with ECE 4/6! Good luck! This was 3.5/5 with 275/60 rear and 245/60 front

Can't go wrong with the ECE 4/6. Good choice!

Here is a 4.5" front (2" coils with2.5" spindles) and 7" rear (5" coils and a 2" bock). I am undecided if I will change that to a 1" block. At this time I have a 1" rake. Need to get some miles on it and let it settle before I change anything. If I stay at this height a c notch is going in.

It looks like you are running 15" wheels. If so please consider changing the 2" block to a 1.5" or 1" and cut the u-bolts down when your done.

Your current set up can be potentially hazardous with scrubline concerns. The tall blocks and extra length on those u-bolts will put your rear suspension on the ground in the event of a blow out. Not a safe scenario at all.

I appreciate the insight. Haven't put it on the road yet hence the u bolts not cut. I have been told before of the issues with a 2" block and clearance. 15" wheels will go soon enough.

5" springs on the rear of mine, and I have a couple inches of travel before it his my bumpstops. No way its hitting the frame. Mine is a 69 c10.

I have the same question I am just prepping the frame for paint now. I am putting in 5 inch rear coils and want to know now if I should c notch or not. I am building a show truck so the biggeast load it will see is a couple of lawn chairs and a cooler or 2.

Thoughts.
