Please send/post pictures of bench seat replacements to a “newer/modern” bench seat.
Seems like everyone is installing buckets, I got that out of my system years (more like decades) ago when I pulled a set of buckets out a 64’ Malibu and place them in a 1960 Custom short box, sitting behind a 348 CI equipped with Tri-power
I am wanting to replace the bench seat in my 1979 K-30 single cab. I have a 1995 GMC 1500 SLE Ex-Cab, the seat is a 60/40 and I admit am spoiled. I wondering if something similar might work. I have the ability to fabricate mounts so I am hoping to get some ideas, I would like to stay with a solid once piece bench, does anyone know do they still use these seats ? I found one post where a Honda van seat was used, and it looked sweet (sorry, I have been unable to locate this post again ?). |

My Dads truck has a bench from a 90 Model Chevy. It was out of a Cheyenne package truck.
I know tweed is out but you get the idea... |

The 2011+ are what I have. The older ones don't look as nice IMO, they have a 'pleated' leather look to them. They all mount about the same though. Let me know and I can snap a few pics of how I mounted them.

The minivan seats look nice. I'm a big fan of seats with headrests after getting rear-ended and whiplash.
