Correct Valve Cover Decal - BLAZER - JIMMY

I'm doing research to have a "correct" valve cover decal made for my 70 C-10 pickup's original 350 4 BBL engine. I started a thread over in the pick up section a few months ago and got quite a bit of new information. I thought I'd ask over in the Blazer/Jimmy area to see if anyone here can ad anything. So far, I believe the "8 350" decal seen in the first picture below, from the 70 C-10 with 80 miles that was for sale a couple of years ago, is the correct one for my engine. It did NOT have a decal on the drivers side. The second picture below, is said to be a 72 GMC from an article in a service bulletin when it was new. The third picture below, shows an original 71 307's decal that I personally took pictures of a few weeks ago. It also did NOT have any remains of a decal on the driver's side.

My main questions are:

1) Does anyone have a Blazer or Jimmy with any portion of it's original valve cover decal still intact ? ( 69 through 72 and ANY cubic inch ) I'd like to see a picture of it, even if it doesn't look like the ones I've posted. I realize that Blazer/Jimmy decals could have been different from the factory then the decals on a pick up.

2) Does anyone remember seeing one of these in the past . . . and did they only come on the passenger side valve cover ?

. . . .

My engine is bone stock and doesn't have any valve cover stickers. Not a great picture, but you can see the valve covers don't have stickers. I guess they could have been removed, but it only had 103K when I bought it 10 years ago.

Thanks !!! From pictures I've seen, the 8 307 and 8 350 decals only came on the passenger side and most only lasted the first year or two because of the heat.

I saw a 8 307 decal last year ( pictured below ) on a 71 that was still in pretty good shape. There were no "remains" on the driver's side.

Steve, I may be mistaken but I think there was this decal on the pass side of a 69 Firetruck that just sold at auction. If you loook under the 67-72 truck side and go a few pages back it should be there. I have a 72 K5 all original , Ill go look to see if there is anything there. I just picked this one up about a month ago and havent really looked yet.

You are right . . . it did have a decal, it's just not the one I'm looking for.

The one on the 69 fire truck is on the left, below.

It's like the one I bought for my 70 on the right, below.

I believe that the one on the fire truck WAS the original decal.

I'm looking for pictures of the "8 350" or "8 307" decals that I believe came on the 70 and 71 engines .

Steve, no sticker on the 72 k5 350. I have a 71 350 out of a c20 that has the partial 8 350 sticker I believe.
