went to a local junk yard to day.....

went to a local wrecking yard to day and got some stuff and took pics of all the 60-66 chevs-gmc's got a hood (60 or 61 not for sure) pretty soild and a pass fender really soild and only a few dents

short wide box not to bad


heres the hood i got


no rear window locks checked and missing bottom door to clam shell rear doors


got fender off this truck thinkng about going back to get bed also in the back ground u can see another cab i didnt get a pic of

i was sad no major option trucks looking for deluxe steering wheels and seats, no power brakes or steering pretty base trucks. but still some good metal up there!

ha! Nice way to carry the hood. I'd have done the same thing! There seems to be a little bit of everything out there. I'd like to go out there myself.

Wow, what an assortment, and a fair amount of GMC’s too. Thanks for sharing the photos for all the rest of us that can only dream about junkyards with that much stuff. That hood looks great, just a bunch of peeling paint to deal with.

Got hood and fender for $140 there also seems to be like 3 other trucks didn't get pics of one was only a cab

It's in Washington actually in Underwood across the river from Hood River Or. Name of the place is Howard's he sells complete vhecials also

Looks like the Suburban has or had the deluxe trim, I see the windshield trim not sure on side trim though.

He was cool with me pretty cheap I thought 140 for the hood and fender and I pulled them and he allowed me to wonder around the yard myself

Well damn eyes playing tricks on me then just seemed shorter than my long bed. Was upset though they totally messed up the rear 180 bumper on it and I have been looking for one for awhile
