69 rear end swap question
QUESTION!? My truck is a C20. I'm going to convert it to a 1/2 ton. Easy enough to do. Instead of using the rear end out of the 73-87 style truck which is a little wider, could I possibly use a rear end from a 70-81 style Camaro???? I know the F body rear is narrower, and may be what I want so I can mount a wider wheel/tire and clear the opening. If I would have to widen the inner wheel well, so be it. My truck has a leaf spring suspension, as does the 2nd gen. Camaros.

Re: 69 rear end swap question
I've never personally done this swap.
I would think it could be done,... but I'm pretty sure the leaf spring perches would have to be moved on the Camaro rearend. Also the pinion angle might be different. I assume you are going to lower the truck also? (flip kit?)
