Arm rest mounting fix, gotta see this
The arm rest mounting is a problem for these trucks, the little spring loaded nuts that fit in the doors seem to get loose and give away. I have found these on 1964 model trucks and vans only, they are a metal bracket with nuts welded to them. They simply go on the inside of the door panel and the arm rest bolts to the outside of the door panel, making a very solid mount.
I installed them on my 65 tonight where it never had armrests using an old door panel i had to mark the hole locations This might help some out that have doors with the square holes pulled thru
