absolutely. I would say, though, if the frame # matches the cab#, and the frame is unaltered, that shortbed's a very rare truck, indeed, possibly even one of a kind. Everything I've ever read, indicates all the 3/4 tons, both C & K models, were lwb. (127")

You might check the 1960 truck vehicle information kit, available on the gmheritage website, the K2504 vin shows, whatever that vin came on, was a 3/4 ton 4x4 stepside 127" wheelbase from the factory. .

Also, I'm pretty sure that only '60 in the 60-66 trucks, K series, had the transfer case lever to the right of the shifter, as yours does, so I'd say that's 1960 for sure.

Re: "Scored"60 Chevy 3/4 4x4 SB

there are other probabilities. does the frame # match the cab vin #. the vin # should describe the w/b. some one could have put those 3/4 t axles under it and and a 3/4 t cab. I changed to the heavier axles under my 64 Gmc 4 x 4 panel, sme w/base as yours. in over 50 years things can get changed around. people do a lot of strange things, but as a 3/4t 4 x 4 I am not saying that it is not impossible but perhaps highly improbable. it would really be interesting to see pictures of both sets of vin nbrs.

Perro, you never let us know the "rest of the story" (as Paul Harvey used to say) Is this truck a "marriage" of more than one, or the rarest of the rare?
