Pedal problems

I have a 06 4.8 with a S&P harness DBW setup. my pedal want repond at all now, at first you could unplug it at the pedal and plug it back and it was fine for awhile but now it want do anything. pulled codes.. showed problems with the pedal so i replaced the pedal but still nothing. called S&P they sent me an email but its like reading chinese to me.. any help ideas?

I'l have to have them scanned again.. i just looked for them and cant find them now. Its dead in the water for now... Engine starts fine idles rough for a second then smooths out, but no pedal. i will have to borrow one from a friend this wknd or rent one from Auto Zone.

It sounds like the connector might not be connected correctly or you have a open wire. I had the same problem and it turned out I had a cut wire on the harness.

Seems to be a somewhat common issue....

The APP pedal sensor can go bad as you've tried to change. Double check for any bad wiring, especially near the throttle body.

You can try to reset the codes when it happens and see if that helps. Or, turn off the truck and wait a minute.

It really sucks when this happens WHILE you are driving....

Little purple wire on the TB likes to crack or pull out from the pin as well. Still interested in which codes it threw tho.

Still need to get a reader to pull the codes , didnt have time you wrk with this wknd, like i had planned. i will check the wiring for breaks this coming wk and see what happens. Thanks for the help and stay tuned..

Not yet, the guy that i was going to borrow the reader from didnt come through for me. Any idea on where to to buy a good reader at a good price?
