Key on source
I don't have a wiring diagram for my '84 C10 so if someone has one in pdf, I would be grateful. Now with that said, what wire are you tapping into for your 12v key on source for your wiring harness?

I would use the wire that originally powered you HEI distributor. That will stay hot during cranking. I don't have a color for you, sorry.

10 gauge Pink. The connector on the end is white.
