Picture Request - Manual Air Ride Switches/Gauges

Does anyone have any pictures of the layout of their manual switches and gauges? Hidden, in the open, custom.... let's see them.

My manual/paddle switches for the 64 are out of sight. I placed them inside of the buddy-bucket console.

Re: Picture Request - Manual Air Ride Switches/Gauges

Thanks for the information guys!

SCOTI... you hit the nail on the head my friend. Awesome install! Simple, clean and cool - it doesn't get any better than that.

Any other switch/gauge installs? Could be on a car, truck, whatever.

Thank you! And yes, electric. I guess I think of them as "manual" compared to my buddies computerized preset system since I have to monitor and adjust each bag.

No biggie. I guess I'm open to any pictures with switches.

Are you running RideTech valves?

Glad to be of inspiration! To tell you guys the truth, manual valves have never crossed my mind. I'm going to look into it since I'm annoyed with my electric valves. Simplicity is a beautiful thing.

Re: Picture Request - Manual Air Ride Switches/Gauges

The only downfall to manual valves are the speed since they are 1/4 inch lines... But if that's not a concern then I don't see any problem with them. Oh... The air for the dump is right behind the switches too, so it would be a little loud... But I'm sure you could route a line off it put if the cab if it's a problem.

Does the dump valve not have a threaded port to attach a line to route the dump outside?

It's just air, so I think the dumping locally isn't an issue. I guess you could route a dump outside but seems unnecessary.

I've had it dump inside before. Not a huge fan. Loud and the burst of pressure hurts my ear drums. Plus when it dumps outside, it has more shock value to folks on the sidewalk..

With manual paddle valves?

My 'in-cab' manual paddle set-up deflated much like a schrader valve would release air pressure from a tire. It can cause a slight odor depending on the amount of moisture in the tank/bags.

I've never had manual valves. I had my 3/8" electric valves dumping in the interior. I was assuming that a paddle valve would have a similar effect if the same amount of air was escaping..? I attached a hose into the threaded dump port and plumbed the hose through the floor to dump outside. If I understand correctly, there isn't a threaded dump port on a paddle switch?
