Project 1980 K10

Picked up another POS truck. 1980 k10 long box. 350 cu in, sm465, NP205, 12 bolt rear and corp 10 bolt front with 3.07 gearing.Truck sat in the weather for about 5 years. Needs body work and paint. Rebuilt the basics like brake system, tune up, carb, smog assemblies, wheels and tires, hubs, drive lines, and all the interior. I am on the hunt for a tilt manual transmission column. Knocking down 14.1 mpg in town. Interior photos for tonight.

Re: Project 1980 K10

Out with the old and in with the new. Original cat and what seems to be possibly the 5th muffler.

Dual 2.25" off the exhaust manifolds to a y pipe then on to a single 3" to a 6" diameter Magnaflow muffler and 3" to the back.

SPD exhaust components are first class. Tig welded the entire system for a nice clean look.

Love the sound. Deep, not to loud and not to quiet.

Don't seem to be able to load more than one pic from my iPad at a time so I will make additional posts. What a pain in the ass.
