Re: Bob Marley funeral truck

Cool truck. I've been to his tomb, guided by his Cousin Fuzzy. It's not touristy...it's off the beaten path at his boyhood home in Nine Mile, St. Anne and you get up there by connecting with the locals. It's a long jeep ride into the hills, and we were stopped once by a truckload of army guys and another time by a bunch of little kids. The tour guide had to pay them while my wife almost peed herself.

The tomb is a little mosoleum with just enough room for 4 or 5 people inside. They got the cancer from his big toe, he recovered and moved on. It later spread throughout his whole body. Besides the copious amounts of ganja he was a very fit and healthy individual. Caner among his fellow Jamaicans was rare, the genetic pre-disposition came from his English Father.

Re: Bob Marley funeral truck

Speaking of funerals, I saw a hearse at a local funeral home last week that was a white square body suburban which had the typical landau style roof treatment. Wish I had I camera. It was still being used.
