Windshield washer system

I pulled my wiper cowl grill and found 2 washer fluid nozzles. Someone in the past cut off the hoses so I don't know how this works. Where do the hoses run? Is the washer fluid pump a part of the wiper motor or external? Where does the washer fluid reservoir go?

Two places for the bottle. Either on the rad support above the voltage regulator or on the cowl beside the master cylinder.

my 63 had the cowl squirters and a small manual foot pump, no electric pump. Was missing the reservior, but I think it might have been a bag hanging on the inner fender. I don't know if this was a dealer add on or aftermarket.

This was the poor mans solution to windshield washers in the late 60's.

Still brand new in the original box. Sold for $10.85

$10.85 doesn't seem like much money today, but at that time, gas was 32 cents a gallon, and you could buy a decent house for $15K. I was working for about $1.65/hr.
