where are dash welds? want to take out dash pane.

Going to take out front dash panel, I was told there are two welds plus four
Bolts. I see the bolts, where are the welds, and can a beginner do this?

There is more than 2 welds to remove...........more like 20 !

There are spot welds the entire length of the front windshield frame and a couple in the inner corners that need to be drilled out then separated, can be done but time consuming...... other wise remove the bolts and cut the dash along the dash pad seam (oval slots).

Use a spot weld cutter instead of drilling a hole through both panels. If you are replacing the dash with one from another truck, then the holes at the spot welds should match up. It is a much cleaner job doing it this way.
