New here, need help!!!

I have a 87 Burban I bought, body and inside is in good shape. It has a 12 bolt out back and a 10 bolt up front with 3.42 gears, a 350 TBI, and a 700r. I am going to put a 3/4 ton front and rear with 4.56 gears and I will keep the 350, but I am going to put a little more muscle in it, make it around 300 horses, but I am going to be running 38"- to 40" tires, what transmission would be best, it will be a daily driver with a little off-road( hunting roads)

Build the 700r4 to handle the power... 300hp should be fine with that transmission.. Plus if you go to something else you would need a computer to handle any 4l65/4l80's or lose your overdrive in getting the th400
