Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
I think it depends on what year, I've seen them on both sides. It really doesn't matter to me though because I plan to run the hydraulic slave and I'll just run my lines.

That--and it may be driven by 2WD/4WD undercarriage, because of the shaft on the left

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Ok---so it's been several days since you flashed those semi wheels in my face! I gotta have some now. What do you watch for--any 22" alloy semi wheel? Are there different mass 22's? Is there a good semi parts for sale forum? And how much should I have to pay for 4?

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Thanks for that scoop! While you were posting that, I ran across a place that does the milling, etc., and your price guidelines run right about what he is. It helps to know that what he told me about what they do, and why, is exactly what you say. I might mention that he likes the steel adapter instead of cast iron. Of course he likes it because that's what he sells. But actually, it sounded like he has handled both.
These aren't Alcoas, but what do you think about the bigger holes? These are just an example--as I look for some, I might run across anything.

I like this website:
http://www.tnwheelandtire.com/site/769454/page/923583 I also like their wheel adapters better than the ones you posted. They are front and rear specific.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Cool.
I know you wanted the 7.5" version,... but a 265/35-22 tire, will fit better on a 8.5" wide wheel.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Thats true, I had considered my tire height but not the width.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Not to keep posting pics of other trucks, but maybe some one with photoshop could lower this to get a better idea of the look your after. At least its blue.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
thats an interesting photo---the gas filler neck is in the shot, indicating the pic is reversed, yet the "pods" logo is not reversed.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
You noticed, I did reverse it (forget why) and the pods sign. I also used the trees to cover a house being built in the background. But I only have Paint, which takes alot to piece the wheels together. As far as I know it's the only way to get a lowered look with Paint (tucking them up into the wheelwells).
