I have to let my baby go

I am at a point where I have to let my 61 GMC go. I also want to thank everyone on this board for all the helpful info. I was able get, you guys are awesome.I really hate to but I have no choice. I am wondering if you think $5000 is a reasonable asking price or am I just kidding myself?
Its got the original 305 V6 and the original transmission. I replaced the carb with a Holley 2 barrel. put an alternator on it, had the transmission rebuilt last year and new clutch put in. The motor hasnt been touched but it runs and drives great. It does not leak. I drive it to work at least a couple times a week.
The interior needs work. The seat needs to be redone. fuel and water temp. gauge are not working, (not sure why, never got the chance to investigate). The floor is solid, no rust.
The bed has wood but not the right wood. its just tongue and groove flooring that was put in by the PO. The metal strips are there and in good shape. I think they can be reused with a little cleanup.
The body has some dents but nothing major. there is some rust behind the front tires at the bottom of the fenders and some at the bottom back corner of the doors. It is holed through. Thats really about it for rust. Its a pretty solid truck really. It came from California and I drove it most of the way back to Texas, till the generator went out.
What should I realisticlly expect to get for it?

I think that is a good price...

I sold my old rattle-canned '63 for $5000
