Daytime Running lights

Hey everyone I've had a cool idea to come up and I want to know if anyone has successfully done it. its for a 77 c10

I'm going to buy this headlight from Brother's Trucks.

http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=EHL80TS

As you can tell its the headlight and turn signal all in one eliminating the traditional turn signal for our trucks has anyone tried turning it into a daytime running light by chance? if you have do you have pictures, and tell me how you did it?

Sweet!! thanks man I was just on his ebay today and didn't even see those, just thought it'd be something different to do on our squares to make it more "retro" you could say.

that looks neat, wondering about it for tho,
appears to state the "LEDS are for off road use only"
I'm not sure if in the US. it's the same DOT rules as CAN. does
can't have a turn signal (might be) as close or closer then 100 mm
don't think we could use it up here, thats why dodge vans etc wink at you
turn signal goes on and headlight turns off

Re: Daytime Running lights

Yeah I'm not sure either but I mean I have my magnum and I have daytime running lights and there side by side almost, but I guess it's just something I'll have to test out I have a back up in case they are against the law, maybe I should ask some people I know in law enforcement might help clear up things too

Re: Daytime Running lights

I always thought about upgrading the headlights on my trucks too but just about every search i found on these types of lights there was almost always someone saying that they were illegal. Anything other then using them off road or on a show car would get you pulled and a nice new ticket from Barney Fife.
