1966 ac bracket pics for LT1 Burb
I found 2 pictures of my 66 327 air conditioning brackets while it was still in that truck last month. You can see the two studs and one regular bolt also holding that ac bracket on the exhaust manifold. This ac system was a dealer kit which makes sense since the truck was a C30 cab chassis bought for a camper conversion by an upfitter in Minneapolis, Kansas. I figured they probably had installed the factory type ac kit with their camper factory people while building the camper body to increase their profit line.

I found the info in that invaluable information from that NOS setup and it even has bolt sizing. I even have a set of bolts that work with the exhaust manifold.

Re: 1966 ac bracket pics for LT1 Burb
Interesting LT1 Burb that your ac brackets and mine are identical but the installation picture shows a different style two piece using only the front ex manifold stud for the 283/327 and then two "U" shapped attachements around the rams horn. Probably a later design change since my engine was made July 1966 and those instructions were dated earlier if I remember correctly. Your whole set up looks awesome. Much more correct for this thread. Quick question what did you use for coating on the exhaust manifolds? I got a quote to have mine ceramic coated and it was $250 plus shipping both ways.

Re: 1966 ac bracket pics for LT1 Burb
Mine do not use the u bolts as in that picture. The installation guide from that NOS manual shows it this way as on my motor. I don't know which year Aero's refers to. Also I painted my manifolds with Eastman cast paint and baked them, the color changed slightly but I am going to leave it now, it was a cost measure to paint them.

The scans were from the 1963 Accessories Installation Manual. Intersting how things can change year to year.
