Re: Painting!! Dad/throw back

Decided to go bone stock under the hood, been stripping, scraping, sanding filthy parts for a while and the final products are looking good. Stock GM blue under the hood.

Re: Painting!! Dad/throw back

Got the numbers matching block back! Dropped it off to be power honed last week, machine shop said she must have been oiled regularly, everything looked good, no need to bore, which was great news since its a 400,

I had a 1976 K5 that color combo. Cheyenne package, AC, tan interior. Small lift over 33's. Paint faded to about the same hue as yours. I guess now I get to see what it was supposed to look like.

Re: Painting!! Dad/throw back

2700 bad transmission though and there is a small amount of bleed through rust over the rear fender trim, may have cancer.
