Rear yoke

I recently lucked out and found a Rockwell t221 transfer case at the junk yard today to replace my old one, only problem is I need to swap the rear yoke to match my u joints. Does any one know is it has to be put back on at a certain torque or can I just throw it on there? How should I do it? If I do it wrong will it cause the transfer case to fail?
