Wow, what a load of cr@p! I was just in Melbourne for business a few months ago. Would have happily brought you what you need from Texas, just to stick it to the man over there... You guys sure put up with a lot of BS....

I lived in L.A for a while and one of the big differences between Australians and Americans is Australians will just accept anything the State Government or Federal government impose on them without a whimper. Our country is the most over policed, over taxed and red taped in the world.I noticed when Americans feel there Governments start imposing laws that are too restrictive they speak up and do something about it.We just bend over and take it up the $%##@

The local road authority here "Vic Roads" has a list of licensed engineers you can use to get car modifications approved and the 2 I rang concerning the seats wanted $600 to look at them and another $600 to look at them again once I had the modifications completed they decided needed doing to get them certified.Had to rip the seat belts out and fit ADR approved belts, change the rear lights and remove the brand new Gragars because the lug holes are multifit ovals (illegal in our state) on top of fitting an original bench seat.

Ok sorry about that rant guys I just needed to get that off my chest.....

So glad I live in America...don't worry, we're quickly catching up to you though mate.

Sadly a custom vehicle built with pride is safer than a poorly maintained stock vehicle most of the time! I see soccer mom vans driving around every day with 5psi in a steer tire just waiting to blow and careen into my family.

Oh, but the engineers are getting theirs it looks like! And I'm sure the agencies you have to pay all the fees to...
