Re: LT1 Burb:pully pictures 66 factory air 327
I measured it to my original and it was the same, , I will contact the guy I got the water pump from and see what he has to say. Also found that the second groove on the water pump pulley is for a 2 pulley alternator.

Re: LT1 Burb:pully pictures 66 factory air 327
I checked my water pump and the hub is bang on with the other 2 I have. I think I am going to mill a 1/4" off of the top pulley to get it closer and call it good.

Re: LT1 Burb:pully pictures 66 factory air 327
Did you string check the compressor and crank to verify it was all off at the water pump pulley? Seems odd it would be off that much to me from factory. The water pump is the non original component from the assembly line and if the once replaced leaking water pumps over the years were all reman, aftermarket, or rebuilt and may not be the same hub depth specs as the original set up was. I'll have to get that 74 16k C10 out of storage for pictures one of these days.

Re: LT1 Burb:pully pictures 66 factory air 327
It is really strange. I have exactly the same cast iron pulley in my truck C-20 Z81 Camper, C60 Air Conditioning include HD radiator, N40 Power Steering.
Furthermore I could not really identify the GM part number (see picture). So I thrusted your posted number 3868559. I searched round about 8 hours in the whole internet, nearly nothing. On the end 2 sources for evidence. 1) Impala GM part cataloque 1967 2) Ebay (I bought immediatly :-)) Would be good to know , what exactly was included in "Heavy duty cooling" and "All-weather air conditioning".
