74 c10 replacing front headlights

I need to replace them cause one went out last night. I really dont have much experience working on vehicles, trying to learn and was wondering how do you remove them to replace them. I used the serach button on this forum and maybe I am not wording it correctly, but, nothing came up on how to remove/replace the headlights. Any help is is appreciated, thanks.

Remove the screws holding the bezel in place then there's three screws holding the trim ring and light in.....

The three screws are the ones you get to from the backside or are those the ones that adjust the angle of the light?

Once you get the bezel off you will see a chrome/silver trim ring holding the headlight in, There's three small screws holding this trim ring in place. Don't fool with the two adjuster screws.....

Re: 74 c10 replacing front headlights

Thank so much Rob. To me it seems like one needs adjustng. I heard you park in a garage and turn your lights onto the wall and measure and adjust to get the correct angle, that true?

Re: 74 c10 replacing front headlights

You said you have a blown bulb, Not a adjustment issue...... If you also have a adjustment issue then adjust like you mentioned in front of a wall. But adjustment isn't necessary when just changing a blown bulb.....

Re: 74 c10 replacing front headlights

Yes I have a blown bulb, but the one on the passenger side seems too far to the right towards side of road. Will have to adjust. Thanks again for your help Rob.
