What to do with the inner firewall
So what is everyone doing to their inner firewall after all the holes have been shaved? Original just glued? custom carpet? Anyone have any pictures on what they did?.. Thanks....

Grind to get rid of weld slag, etc. POR for the rust, rustoleum primer (oil base brush on) for the rest. I used white, makes it a whole lot easier to see under the dash for wiring, ac install, etc. Then house bubble type insulation mounted with 3M 77 adhesive, carpet pad and carpet in that order.

primer, lots of paint over spray, 2 layers of rammat sound deadening membrane, 2 layers of ensolite sound deadening foam and carpet
