Lower Radiator Hose, 72 K5 4WD

Has anyone out there have trouble finding a lower radiator hose for a 72 4WD Blazer with a 5.7?

I bought mine at Napa and had no trouble at all. 1971 with a 350.

Subscribed to this. Had some trouble finding a good fit for my '71 4x4 1/2 ton w/350 V-8 and the one I used works but not like I would like it to. No NAPA store here locally but do you have a part number for what you used? If correct I would make the 35 mile trip to get a better fitting hose.

It's a 4wd, but I certainly don't remember the number; I redid the cooling system last summer. If I remember right, it was a cut-to-fit hose - it was molded properly but one end was supposed to be shortened. Sorry I can't do more.

No issues finding them online...
Autozone - Dayco Part Number: E70664
O'Riellys - Gates Part # : 20694
NAPA - Part Number: NBH 7293 - but the one pictured looked wierd.

$14 to $22

Re: Lower Radiator Hose, 72 K5 4WD

When I got a new one for mine from napa, the 4wd one was wrong. Got the 2wd radiator hose for the same model (1972) and it fit perfect. Hope this helps.
I actually didn't know there should be a difference in the radiator hose for 2 or 4wd but that was my case.

Re: Lower Radiator Hose, 72 K5 4WD

Well, I finally found one at O'Rielly's. It's part #20843. For some reason, the only part number that came up on their search was a hose for a 2WD. This part number is for a 1973 K5 4WD. The shape is the same, the only slight difference is the inner diameter of the hose on the radiator end; it's a little smaller but it did go on. I think I will go back to see what the Gates Part # 20694 looks like. Thanks for all of the input!!
