Got my drop done and wheels mounted!

Here are a few pics and a before. Did 2.5 drop spindles and 2" springs. Removed a leaf from the rear and did drop shackles.

Rev Classic 20x8 & 20x9.5 wheels. She's looking much better!

Re: Got my drop done and wheels mounted!

Looks really really good. I'm working on my drop right now. I need to go buy a cut off tool to notch the bed rails underneath to clear the shackles. After that I'm done. I like the wheel choice.

Thanks for all the compliments! I've been working hard the last few weeks! I believe there was already one leaf removed when I got the truck. The rear actually sat a little lower than the front. So I removed another and did the lowering shackles. The left side was actually sitting higher, So I got the adjustible 1" or 2" shackles. Left is on 2" and right is set at 1" It rides just as good as it looks too!

Rev Classic 100 wheels. Purchased through wheel dealer on Ebay. Here is a link to exactly what I bought.

I ended up having to run wheel adapter spacers on the rear. It currently has 1.25" but I have 1.5" on the way.

The front are ok. I could put a small 1/4 spacer in to bring them out. Not sure if I am going to.

Tires are Toyo Proxie 2. 295/40/20 Rear / 255/40/20 Front

Re: Got my drop done and wheels mounted!

Believe it or not, this is all original paint from 77. If I took some close ups, you could see where the paint is thin from being buffed on.

The cab corners look like they may have had a little work done to them, besides that shes 100% original. Had a topper on it all its life so the bed is on perfect shape.

Re: Got my drop done and wheels mounted!

What are the offsets? Are you running the spacers due to the offset not being what you desired?

Re: Got my drop done and wheels mounted!

Front: (2) 20x8 - (4.50" Backspace, 3" Lip)

Rear: (2) 20x9.5 - (5.25" Backspace, 4.5" Lip)

I am running 1.25" spacers in the rear currently. But have a set of 1.5" on the way.
