1965 dash removal

Does anyone know if the 65 c-10 dash is removable? My 62 dash is welded in. Not familiar with the 65/66 trucks.

Re: 1965 dash removal

Thanks, I'm rather new to the site. And I just purchased a 1965 short bed fleetside a few months ago. Really nice truck, but previous owner cut the radio opening out. It keeps me awake at night just thinking about it. I thought I could remove it to have it repaired on a table. But just my luck, it's not that simple. Might have to live with it. Thanks Again

Dash repairs are done with the dash in place by most folks. I plan to do my 65 dash repair with a piece I scavenged from the salvage yard. The vendors sell patch panels to repair the dash. It can be done.

Re: 1965 dash removal

Thanks for the reply on my dash question. I found this site about two weeks ago. Can there be another site to compare to it, for any vehicle type! I'll have to learn how to add photos to this www.com machine, then perhaps I can introduce my sweet little 65 short fleet bbw, with 283/powerglide. Thanks again, Mike
