5.3 to 6.0 swap

hey guys I've been looking at newer trucks and found my dream truck a 2007-2013 single cab standard bed silverado 4x4, i was wondering what the possibility is of a swap from the 5.3 to the 6.0 is and what parts need to be changed, if the transfer case can handle it or if the power gain is even worth the effort. i looked at the 2500hd and as far as i can tell they don't come in a standard bed option and that is the number one thing I'm looking at. any thoughts on this matter?
