1984 K5 Rebuild

Hey guy's i'm about to start to rebuild my 84 Blazer. I will be taking the 84 body off and i'm putting a 1990 rust free body on it that i got from North Carolina.
Does anyone know which year i should get the body mount kit for? I looked on LMC and can get the complete kits from them. They list them for 81-84 and 85-91. Is there a difference in the body or the frame mounts?
I've done this before but put a 1991 body on a 1987 frame without trouble.
Any input would be great.

Thanks

Re: 1984 K5 Rebuild

Although there is not much of a difference between the 81-84 and 85-91 body mounts, I find it is always better to order kits that match the frame, when doing body swaps.

The tub mounting holes are the same 73-91, only the actual mounting shells and frame mounts changed.

Not a bad looking truck from here, but I'm guessing it has the normal floor pan and cab support rot.

Re: 1984 K5 Rebuild

Only real bad part is the tailpan(tailgate support). I need to replace it and i expect to do some floor work there while doing that. Other then that the truck is pretty solid, it has some holes on the pass rear quarter where it had a tire carrier installed at one time. I'm going to another one after this is finished for my girl friend so this body will be fixed and used next year.
