A/C wiring questions??

Is the Anti dieseling relay required for the a/c to work properly in my 72 GMC truck with a 6.0 ls in it?

Re: A/C wiring questions??

At worst....You may need to jump the relay harness, Ive ran across these relays in '71 & '72 Chevelles, The C/K wiring may be different??

I think those anti-diesel capacitor relays are getting hard to find

Re: A/C wiring questions??

You won't need it.. all you need is the wire from the switch mounted on the diverter box to the compressor, or your pressure switches depending on what type of system you're running.

Re: A/C wiring questions??

Ok. thanks for the help. Going to buy the Dirty Dingo bracket tomorrow. I am going to try to make the system work with the Sanden compressor, POA update valve, R134 dryer, and condensor, with the original accumulator.

You mean evaporator, right? If you're using the old POA system you won't have an accumulator.

Re: A/C wiring questions??

I have a question about the anti-dieseling relay. My blower motor quit work when my relay quit working.I pulled the relay out and there is something rattling around in there so I am pretty sure it is bad. Can I bypass this relay somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
