Let myself introduce....myself

Name is Luke, located in Vancouver, WA. Always been a full size chevy guy at heart, but have been financially forced to drive foriegn gas sippers until recently. Recently picked up an 85 suburban, that I feel I saved from some years of neglect. It was really clean inside and straight outside, but the paint was sunfaded, wheels are covered in corrosion, and the trans was short a couple gears. It had been parked in the PO's back yard for at least 2 years judging by the expired tags.

Here it is the night I drove it home, missing some molding paint faded, and I couldn't get over 45mph because the trans only had 1st, 2nd and reverse.

And here it is a week later after I rebuilt the trans, cleaned it, and buffed out the paint. Next is buff, polish and wax it some more, then refinish the wheels.
