What spindles should I order?
Was just wondering what you guys think are some of the better brands of spindles out there. I will be putting them on my 71 C10 with front disk breaks. Is there a reason some people run the 73-87 spindles on older trucks? Just wanting to get some ideas before I order, so i buy the right spindles the first time. Will be adding air ride also this year and then next year it will be Porterbuilt front and back. Not sure if my truck has the 1 " rotors or the 1.25" rotors if that matters.

Re: What spindles should I order?
Your truck has 1.25" rotors.
Buy 71-72 drop spindles for a direct fit. Early Classic, Belltech, McGaughy's, Western Chassis, are all good brands. 73-87 spindles will require a different upper ball joint and outer tie rod. This is what was neccessary 30 years ago when 71-72 specific drop spindles weren't produced yet. CPP still stock, promotes and sells this 73-87 conversion kit. Why people buy this kit is beyond me.
