Are the fenders for your '56 truck? First time I've looked at this part of the forum and it's a bit misleading. The heading says '47 to '59 but then under that it says '47 to '55 - 1st series.

There is also a small support bracket at the top corner of the bed that is in the roll area.

three length beds all have different cut outs for the spare, 3 different brackets too
i was going thru the assembly manual when i built my truk, there is also a shim on the axle on the spare side us 3100 spare is on the left fender, canadian 1300 spare is on the right fender
