Anyone converted an OEM mechanical oil pressure gauge for use w electronic send unit?
The resto guys have one of my OEM mechanical 80lb oil gauges out to a gauge shop to be converted for use with an electronic sending unit rather than the oil line. Has anyone done a similar conversion?

Here's the converted gauge - no more oil line.

Re: Anyone converted an OEM mechanical oil pressure gauge for use w electronic send u
It was done at a local shop with an international reputation for its work restoring gauge clusters for high-end restorations (MoMa gauges) in vintage Ferarri's, Corvettes, etc. Pricey at ~$175 though, which included the sending unit. The shop has no website - all their business is via word of mouth and they've been doing work for decades.

MoMa gauges on 2nd street just north of Mountain on west side...they do some amazing work. I regret chopping up an OEM 80lb mechanical gauge when I could have used a 60 lb'er
