rear view mirror location

any specs on mirror location between visors? just center it? how far up from the windshield? mine didn't come with one, so no holes. thanks guy's----------

IIRC, I think there are three dimpels that line up with the mirror bracket. Drill the dimpels for the screws.

My 64 and 65 had no dimples. I centered it and the lower screws about 1/4" above the lip of the turn out to the windshield

That's sounds right the factory assembly manual has some measurements. I just found the center measuring from side to side held up the mirror to see good behind me and it was about the same as Sharps position is and it looked good to me, BTW my 65 GMC had no dimples either but it is still cute..vernski
