72 Blz tire and wheel fitment .. (Not Sure)
Ok this may be an easy question for some of ya out there... I'm looking at buying these 20" wheels with tire size being 305 55 20 I've already ordered my Tuff country 4" lift so I need to be sure on the wheels. I don't plan on off roading the truck or anything to that nature. Never owed a 20" wheel I've alway had 15"or17" wheels .. So again I'm not sure if the three more inches on the rim + tire size will work or not...
Thanks everyone..... Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 72 Blz tire and wheel fitment .. (Not Sure)
You only need to worry about the rim width and the offset to make sure they will not stick out too far or be tucked in too far.... After that the tire size will tell you everything you need to know.
just convert the metric sizing to floation. 305 is the width in MM equals a 12" cross section, or tread width. aspect ratio means the sidewall height is 55" of the width or 6.6". Since you've got a sidewall on either side of the rim then you've got 13.2" of sidewall plus 20" of rim so it works out to a 33" tire. |
