What size tires ?

Just picked up a 91 full size jimmy and the tires that are on it looks to small for my liking. In your opinion what size tires look best on k5's with stock wheels and sitting at stock height ? Looking to fill up the wheel wells a little, please post pics if you got em.

Agree.

31 x 10.5's were available as an optional size from the factory and filled up the wheel openings nicely.

I don't think there is a P metric conversion; they are a Light Truck tire and I believe are still referred to in this way.

Re: What size tires ?

31x10.5 BFGs on stock looks like this. I could have gone with 32", but I would have wanted to lift it to make it look right. Usually lifts screw the ride up; huge tires aren't my thing anyways.

Thank you. It's a time warp. I love it.

As for pics, you'll have to what I did and spend hours searching the options. However I found this dude who had 32" BFGs on no lift.

Re: What size tires ?

235/75r15's are car tires
Here's a set on my old torino...

I just put 265/75r16's on my burban, fit nice with stock height.

Metric tire sizes come in P (passenger) and LT (Light Truck)

I would get a little bigger rim, 16 has a lot of tire size options and very easy to find sets on craigslist for cheap.

Re: What size tires ?

If you add 15x10 rims to a stock 4x4, 31x10.50's look good but 32x11.50's look great. They don't rub and don't require a lift. They're just hard to find now.
