Pass Side Motor Mount For A 292

Swapping the tired old 230 out of my 66 for a fresh 292. Almost ready to put it in the truck but realized the pass side motor mount won't line up. Can I use my stock 230 mount with spacers? or do I need an entire different mount? Thank you for any info and if I need one, does anyone have one?

You will need the shorter motor mount bracket for the passenger side. I should have an extra one. I'd like $20.00 plus shipping.

Are you sure it's a shorter mount? By looking at it, my 230 mount was TOO short to fit the holes in the block.

Re: Pass Side Motor Mount For A 292

I was referring to the bracket that bolts to the frame and the crossmember. That is different for the 292 versus the 230/250. I do not have any of the brackets between the motor mount and the block.
