Thanks guys. They have these boards on eBay for $189 plus $24 shipping. I got a price from office max today for $51. At least that was the estimate.

Phillip, I haven't even looked at the truck since I parked it.

If that relates back to Facebook, I think I know what he's referring to!

Alan, if you don't know about it, check [url]retailmenot.com] for coupon codes you can apply online or in-store. Might be able to save even more on those boards. Lots of retailers on there to search through!

Thank you for the link. I'm sure will come in handy.

You are correct is was related to my FB comment.

Here is the FB comment I posted.

Quote:
This will be my last trip to this first Friday cruise in downtown Canton. There is a different group of people that show up. Us car guys take great care of our cars and keep them shined up. I have never seen so many people that had to touch, lean in to show something to someone. No damage that I know of, but plenty of finger prints and armpit juice. I left early mainly due to that fact.

I had 2 different people say "I see you added AC". Really that's the only thing you could come up with. Truly not a car crowd.

I might go back just to visit, but the truck will stay home.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

Seems like allot people are just clueless even if your standing there with a bottle of detailer spray and a micro cloth wiping up after them. I put some polished stainless steel rail caps on my box, and if you touch them it leaves oily finger prints all over them. It's the first thing they want to touch and I can sure understand your disdain over people being slobs about it. I laughed about the armpit juice comment but seriously don't people get it?..Vernski

It's in their raising. If there not tought then most don't know. Some with some sense realize it without being tought. I guess I just need to not let it bother me so much and correct the gross negligence.

My wife picked up the sign board today. It turned out pretty good. If your wondering my hood isn't shut. I disconnect the battery when it sets.

Alan, its been quite awhile since I thought about your truck couple years since my last last post.... Guy has a 65 in my friends body shop and its orange as well. And I was bragging like crazy about your truck to him, thus leading me to look up your thread.....

I don't know about luck. It was a good show. There were about 80 cars. I ask my wife if I could keep them...........no not really. She wasn't there to ask.

I didn't know I was either.

I did get interviewed by a guy that has a youtube channel about local show coverage. He high lighted my truck and interviewed me about it. The video isn't up yet. Once he post it I'll review it and if it turned out ok I'll post a link. Want to make sure I'm not a total dork.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

Here's the video that I mentioned. I wasn't much of a salesman. Maybe next time.

My cuts didn't make the first two videos on YouTube. I emailed him and ask if they ended up on the floor. So he did this one. I was the last film of the day. Maybe it just got overlooked. Yeah, that's it.

Cool video! It wasn't bad. At least you know what to expect next time. Even celebrities gotta start somewhere.

Although I've seen pics before, it's funny because with the beard you remind me of a skinnier version of my father-in-law. He does body work/paint on big rigs for a transportation company.

Wish the interviewer would of let you talk freely about the restoration and modifications made. He seemed rushed/nervous while interviewing. IMO
Glad I can go over your build and look at each part of the build again and again. Worth more to me than any magazine article.
Great job with the interview, I bet there will be more to come.

What??? I'm not a celebrity??? JK far from it. Now that I looked at the video on the PC and not my phone it isn't too bad. Like you said I now know what to expect. BTW thanks!!

This is the longest I've ever grown my beard. My wife can stand it. I'm mixed. I forget it 's even there. Do you have a pic of your FIL?

Thank you Cr. Bomp. I was the last recording he did at this show. He was gone pretty quick after shooting this. I'll try to talk more if there is a next time.

No, I was trying to infer that you ARE a celebrity. As such, you (like other celebs) gotta start somewhere. Make more sense?

And my wife can't even stand if my facial hair gets prickly, lol. I've only let it grow out to "beard" status once before, but it wasn't anywhere near as long as yours. I usually just rock the goatee or soul patch. I'll see if I can find a good pic of my FIL. I don't think my wife has ever seen him without a beard.
