Re: think I've decided on a suspension plan.....
All I know for sure is a can get two and a half inches into the frame now if they bottom out. Depending on how your shock extensions are it may be more or less all I know is I like them.

Re: think I've decided on a suspension plan.....
pulled the trigger, parts are ordered! No going back now.
Made a few more changes; hoping all goes well come install time. Parts List: 1. Belltech 4/6 drop kit with Street Performance Shocks (3" spindles/1" springs/flip kit/c-notch) 2. Porterbuilt 1" forward lower control arms for coil spring 3. Stock upper control arms with MOOG K6184 problem solver control arm shaft/bushing kit (allows additional positive camber adjustment) 4. Stock rear leaf springs/shackle w/Energy suspension bushings (have run these before and like them alot) 5. Energy suspension body mounts 6. McGaughy's 12.5" Front Disc Brake Kit part# 63156 7. MOOG tie rods/adjustment sleeve/idler/pitman arm 8. Dorman lower control arm bolts SO that's it. Hoping it all plays nice together! Thanks for the advices and help!

That's why I left the sway bar off the list........that will have to come later since I spent a little more on the whole package than I originally budgeted for

Re: think I've decided on a suspension plan.....
just as a follow up, using the belltech 3" drop spindles and 1" lower springs the shocks provided with the kit were a little over 1" shorter than stock(or at least what were on the truck)
stock shock measured 15" open end to end, belltech shock measured 14" open end to end.
