Should my 72 K5 have a charcoal canister?
Did GM equip K5s with charcoal canisters to filter vapor from the gas tank? IIRC 1/2t trucks were so equipped but 3/4t trucks were exempt. Thanks, Pete

This is my factory canister from my original 72 k5. Is this what your referring to?

Great guys thanks a lot - I have a spare somewhere I think. Where exactly on the rad support does this mount? Where do the hoses go??

Mines mounted on the passenger side, hoses coming up the frame rail. That diagram is the way I have mine hooked up.
