selectro hub removal help needed

I've got a 65 k10 with selectro hubs I need to remove. Removing the locking portion was easy three set screws and it slid right off. I removed a spiral retaining ring from the inner gear section and thought it would pull right out. It wont budge but see no other type of locking device holding it in. I guess what I need to know is if it's a pressed fit and do I need some kind of hub puller to remove it.

Re: selectro hub removal help needed

GM Service manual shows:
1. Turn hub key to set hub to "free" or disengage" position.
2. Remove outer clutch ring, cap and cam assemblies as follows: remove internal snap ring from hub and pull assembly out of hub.
3. Remove snap ring from end of axle shaft.
4. Pull bushing and inner clutch ring assembly from shaft.

No problem. Did you get it sorted out? Might try posting in the 4x4 section
