you've all seen my turd before!!
 this thing rubbed every where i went and i hated the fact that i couldnt get under the friggin thing! now it looks like something i would drive!!  and thats where i am so far, until i do the body work and convert it to 4wd!

My truck when I first got it. It smoked like an old dirty whore, the tonnue had a boner that lasted more than four hours. The front alignment was more crooked than beetle juices teeth and with that rear rake you swear it was haulin a** everywhere but instead it just lethargically dragged it
 Years later here it is now     And my stepside I got as a just a shell I just got it running yesterday hasn't had an engine since '08    Posted via Mobile Device

 Keith - reading your thread was highly enjoyable, great story! Here is my 81' when I got it 12 years ago. Second pic was its first paint job and rims. Last pics are of how she is now.

When I found her.
   Pulled out and loaded for her ride to her new forever home.   This is my after pics so far. Cleaned up, run and new front brakes w/ new MC, the rears will be done in a few hours.

It ugly but there's a lot going on underneath that the pictures don't show. Started out as a free longbed with bad engine. Coupled with a welder and a 75 dollar Craigslist step bed and some shop time it is getting better every day.
