drop shocks
Searched with no luck.

I've had the same difficulty on other vehicles. Usually its some kind of special shock or a shock off of a much lower vehicle, that will work for lowering the one you're working on. Then there's the valving...

Relocating the upper mounts higher means using off the shelf parts designed (& valved) for your C10 app.

The shocks are bottomed out.

I used shocks fitting a 1950 Chrysler on the front of my C-10. But, I'm running drop spindles and bags, your needs may vary.
I think CPP makes a bracket to raise your upper shock mount.

There's alot of the airbag guys that sell em.(like AVS or Porterbuilt) When I had a 4.5/7 static drop I never needed a "different" shock. Just new ones, cause they were wore out.

the stock length shock should get you well into the steel bump stop/spindle stop under the rubber bump stop. are you sure its not just hitting teh bump stops?
