Question before I jump the Square body ship.

Ive had a ton of 73-87 trucks but recently I found a '66 C/10. I'm a big fat guy and I was wondering if the cab on the '66 is smaller inside if so by how much? And is there anything that can be done to make me fit besides loose weight?

I think it would be cool to build something a little bit older.

I big guy too like in round, I got a mooneyes flake 13" steering wheel, still have the tank in the cab, i fit good

It is possible to move the steering column forward(or down towards steering box) about 2 inches. The linkage from the column to trans will need to be readjusted, possibly lengthened. You will also have to cut the shaft from the column to the box and sleeve it and re-weld together. A smaller steering wheel will also help. If you want to relocate the fuel tank from inside the cab, it'll gain you another 2" approx. of seat travel to the rear.

I actually have a 74, 72 and several 64-66 trucks. The 64-66 trucks actually have the most room out of all of them. I'm 6'4" and 250

6'3 305 here. I have a Grant 13" steering wheel with very little depth and it's perfect. The pedals are a bit close for my liking but not a big deal.

If you have a long torso or arms, lower the seat (or install buckets), and put the seat far back.

If you have long legs (I'm 6'4), you can either lower the seat if that works, or actually think about RAISING the seat and getting a tilt wheel (plus moving the column inward a bit). This sits you more upright, and gives your legs a better angle to reach the pedals. The tilt wheel helps with gut clearance.
